This handsewn beadwork piece is crafted from preloved and vintage necklaces that have been carefully deconstructed and brought back to life. Each bead is individually stitched to form a koi fish in graceful motion, its shimmering body flowing across the surface like water. The work transforms forgotten jewellery into a vibrant, textural artwork that reflects themes of renewal, movement, and beauty of reuse.

This can be the centrepiece on a canvas (size to suit) and I can advise on the choice of fabric to best complement the beadwork colours.

Swan feathers, either natural or hand painted, will be used to surround the piece, which can be supplied framed or unframed.
